In a perfect world what would your best skin look and feel like?
A question I asked on Instagram out of curiosity of what #skingoals my Instafam are striving for. The votes were tied between Youthful skin and Pore-less/Line&Wrinkle Free skin. So I grabbed my laptop and started doing some research. What causes skin to loose elasticity? What causes the skin to wrinkle? How can you naturally reduce fine lines?
I've taken a lot of biology and anatomy classes so I can give a lesson or two on the structure of the skin, where new skin cells are developed, where collagen in stored, what in the world is sebum(if you've never heard this word, go ahead and email me for a skin crash course lol), but I'm sure that would probably bore you. Alternatively, I've come up with some main take away points, keep reading...

Almost 70 % percent of what you put on your skin is absorbed by the skin into the bloodstream.
We all strive to have amazing skin, because let's be honest it's one of the major things people first notice about us. I personally have oily-combination skin and I've always tried to keep products usage more especially to my face to a minimal. One thing I didn't believe in was moisturizing my face until recently when I realized the importance of moisturizers.
Moisturizers do two key thing in helping to keep skin looking youthful and radiant; store water(which keeps your skin lubricated) in the outer layer of your skin(stratum corneum), and act as barrier between outside elements, and your skin to keep debris and other harmful elements out. If this information doesn't make you want to grab your honey drop moisturizer and start applying it, I don't know what will.
I'm thrilled to partner with Farmacy Beauty to share with you my experience with their Honey Drop lightweight moisturizer. As I mentioned I have oily-combination skin, and I also am in Texas now and the temperatures are scorching hot which means my skin is perspirating a lot more than usual and my sebum is most likely in overdrive. The last thing you would want to do is exhaust the skin with too many products.
This moisturizer is true to what is says, it is very lightweight I barely noticed that I have moisturizer on. It also has these micro-beads(which I learned that they're actually Amazonian golden cupuaçu butter beads) that melt into the skin, at first I thought they would be kind of like an exfoliant but these super beads have a really high water holding capacity and are often used as an emollient. If you answered my Insta-Q and said you wanted Youthful soft skin this Honey drop moisturizer is your holy grail.
