Summer has flown by per usual, and now we're in the dog days of it. The temperature's are miserably high, and the mere thought of being outside for more than 5 minutes is basically a death wish. Although the dog days of summer are usually the commencement of fall. If only I could teleport myself back to cool and rainy Switzerland, that would be a dream.
So what do you wear when it's this scorching hot but you've got work to do and to-do lists to kill? Nothing is the correct answer but because we have to hustle and "get this bread" -Eva Chen has been using this so much in her stories its now sticking to me- clothing isn't optional.
August is Like the
Summer of Sunday
Recently, I have been living in spaghetti strapped clothing, dresses, over sized shirts, and this denim jacket.
Denim jackets are perfect for the summer because you can wear the least amount of clothing underneath and get away with it. For example, you can wear a bralette, throw it on over it, add a pair of loose fitted trousers and look very chic. I am also shamelessly guilty of repeating that outfit combo at least twice a week.
On this day specifically though, I wore my jacket with this gingham Faithful the Brand dress, and a pair of canvas shoes. Denim jackets tend to round the outfit out and also adds a casual vibe to what you're wearing.
