Personally, any chance I get to wear a gorgeous a dress, I will absolutely take it. In my formative I was almost always in every wedding in town, I felt like a child Katherine Heigl when she played Jane in 27 dresses.
So today we're covering wedding guest attire and 3 tips to be the best dressed guest. Some of these tips I've learned from mistakes I've made and trust me you don't ever want to be that person making the same mistake I made. *I might insert a picture or 2 from previous weddings I've attended.*

1. Don't Be That Person
When deciding what to wear always try to be as subtle as you can, especially if you're a person whose creativity is highly expressed through what you wear(you're usually the most extra person in the room-i.e, me). I had the displeasure of wearing a very extravagant dress once that almost looked like the bride's wedding dress and when I walked into the wedding I could feel people's eyes staring me down and I've never wanted to run and hide so bad in my life like I did in that moment. So when making that hard life decision on what to wear, learn from my mistake and keep in mind subtle and minimal are your friends.
Your comfort should always be a key must-have in your dressing. You never want to be that person walking funny because their shoes are killing them or walking around with a slightly unzipping dress because everything is just a little too tight, that's never a good look! Choose something that gives you room to breathe, and will later be able to hide the reception food baby(this is the number 1 thing I always look for, you'll be thankful when taking those reception photos!).
2. Always Choose Comfort over Everything
3. Less is more when it comes to showing skin
I've definitely been to a wedding where a guest or two had completely gone over board with the skin showing. A little skin doesn't hurt anyone but if all your goodies could slip out at any given moment and give everyone a show they didn't ask for, then "say no to the dress". The beautiful thing about this dress is that I could have the open sides altered and closed up and the dress would still look just as amazing!
